PEEPING Len's snappy shoes have finally landed him in jail.

Leonard Marsden, 51, of Surfers Paradise, was yesterday jailed for using his inbuilt secret shoe camera to film up women's skirts in local shopping centres.

It was the second time Marsden had been before the court for using the device and this time Southport magistrate Brian Kilmartin said the court needed to show its 'gross disapproval' of such conduct.

Mr Kilmartin sentenced Marsden to six months' jail but ordered he be released on parole at the end of the month.

Marsden was sentenced in the Southport Magistrates Court yesterday after pleading guilty to recording in breach of privacy between December, 2006,adidas by jeremy scott, and March this year.

Police prosecutor Trudi Jobberns told the court Marsden used his 'shoe camera' to collect about 500 'upskirting' videos which were found after police searched his apartment in March.
