I feel so lucky to have a piece of Olga Road. The upcycling process that goes into each one of these jackets is fascinating, and makes every jacket one-of-a-kind. My mom and I were so excited when they offered us each a jacket, and we're so glad the weather is finally cooling down so we can actually wear them! I'd like to thank Olga Road for the wonderful gift, I'm very happy to be able to share such a cool product on my blog. We've had a really mild spring this year, usually it seems like its 100 degrees by March. I'm in the dining room at my mom place, which has been slowly evolving into a fantastical psychedelic opium den since she moved in. I have been very busy this week, feel like I haven had much time for fashion! This weekend I am going to be in Mexico with my dad-I'll be back on Tuesday though! I like packing for short trips, it hard through, because I keep on trying on outfits and can choose which ones to bring. On some of my first attempts I didn't get the stencil down so there are some blobby things but I'm cool with it.I used a very obvious stencil letter shape as my inspiration for my neon and black balls actually came from local gig posters and those hand painted signs made for smaller clubs and bars that shine brightly even in the dim lighting when a show is going on.

Upon returning home I noticed a package at my doorstep. Confused because I hadn't ordered anything for myself I went and opened the box. Only to find that it was my grandmother's medicine that I ordered for her online and accidentally shipped to myself. *sigh* Really?I go inside to package it up to send to her and realize that I am out of bubble envelopes. Since going to town takes me about an hour both ways I decided to just make my own. After all, I have tons of scrapbooking paper and a roll of bubble wrap,

My mom and I found this amazing leather jacket from the bicentennial at Cheap Thrills Vintage in Tulsa. Amazing score and a fun piece of history,toms outlet. It an old picture, from like the late nineties I think. I found it a couple of years ago and from then on I've been on the hunt for a jacket just like hers...I have a Kansai Yamamoto jacket with some military-ish detailing on it that is actually quite amazing but it not the 'real deal'. I'm talking about actual band-geek jackets.
I read several times that they don do anything, but I have noticed such a difference since I started using one, I have clearer skin and my makeup lasts longer. I use an astringent from Neutrogena. If you normally use eyeliner or shadow during the day, try going without it for a week and see how you like it. I used to use a lot of liner out of habit but I decided to try a fresher look and I much prefer it. One thing I can live without is a ton of mascara...I can give it up. I probably literally wear about five coats on my upper and lower lashes for night time.
My sister had the genius idea to roll up a piece of paper (left over from chain making) into a cone shape,toms shoes for kids. Our house is all decked out for Christmas, you guys, can you tell we take Christmas pretty seriousely in our house?!! Gifts are already being wrapped and my sister is baking our special Christmas cookie recipe right now. Even Townsend and Shelley are feeling the Christmas spirit.
