The Nashville Schools has started a fresh telephone information service that gives important information to parents. The Nashville Schools new telephone message service offer information about such college relevant information as: schools that are closed due incidents of snow, tornadoes or any other issues; schools on lock-down throughout drop-off or pick-up times; any important parent meetings; an emergency situation at any of the Nashville Schools; and work information.
Parents seem to want a simple system for communication between the schools and themselves. The telephone system will be an automatic call out system that will call parents. The calls will soon be no further than forty-five seconds showing the importance of-the parents time. For college closings calls is going to be made about half an hour before the son or daughter is scheduled to be picked upped by their bus. Any calls which are about non-emergency information is likely to be made before 8:00PM. For emergency situations calls will be produced as soon as the info is available.

Nashville Schools Produces New Training Center using the Nashville Coalition for Public Education
The staff and faculty of the Nashville Schools could have a brand new education center for professional growth. The brand new Martin Professional Development Center will soon be completed with a combination of public and private funds. The Nashville Colleges Martin Professional Development Center is named for the job of the Martin Foundation and Charlie Martin.
This new service is going to be located in the Eakin Elementary. The Eakin Elementary will be converted into the brand new training center. This Center will change the prevailing Randalls Learning Center which can be more than 80 years of age. The new center is scheduled to start in October. The new heart employs weeks of work from the Nashville Alliance for Public Education to secure $3.5 million in reconstruction funds. These renovations will create a 10,000 square foot room which can be employed for a number of purposes. Nashville Schools Martin Professional Development Center renovation will include development of a media features enhanced classes and the structures faade will be changed.
Private donations came from the Martin Foundation that has pledged $1.5 million towards the task. Additional benefits in the Orrin H. Ingram Fund and the Turner Family Foundation provide still another $1.5 million. Various other resources is going to be secured following the purchase of the Randalls Learning Center property.
